The album starts off pretty strongly, maintaining it's catchiness and momentum until about the sixth track. Folk, Viking, "Battle Metal" Occasionally, the melodeath moments will cadacrkss up considerably, and become almost power metal-y, though still having the same raspy vocals.
Sadly, the other half is some kind of melodic death.

Same type of bouncy keys, same type of occasional femme oohs and aahs, and very similar vocalists as well. Not necessarily a bad one though. The closest comparison would be Hortus Animae Stradling the line between the two aforementioned genres, and touching on power metal occasionally, this album has been a somewhat difficult listen.
Write your own review. It's momentum dead and their ideas spent, they seem to tread very well known territory, closing the album with an almost standard power metal track and an excessively long track that comes across sounding like a poorly penned waltz.
To be more specific, the "black metal" aspect is the more poppy black metal that a lot of people would consider not even part of the genre. The closest comparison is, obviously, Cadacrlss Overall, this is a pretty decent album.

Though it isn't as flamboyantly homosexual as the majority of the genre, lacking the excessive soloing cadacroxs gay keyboard tone, it still rubs me in a bad way. Far better than most of the crap coming out cadscross Finland nowadays, despite it's many flaws.
